Assisting Hand, a Non-Profit, 501(c)3 Organization Dedicated to Rebuilding the New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish Communities

ASSISTING HAND is a certified 501(c)3, non-profit organization, servicing small, disadvantaged groups throughout the United States.

This organization not only provides housing to low to moderate income families, but also offers business consulting services to minority-owned, women-owned, 8(a) and other small businesses. The trustees of ASSISTING HAND are successful businessmen and former SBA-8(a) participants, and have established this non-profit group to "give back" to the community.

Our main objective is to provide quality housing to families (specifically in disaster stricken areas), and assist small, disadvantaged businesses on how to successfully market and obtain Federal government contracts. This invaluable experience sets this organization apart from other non-profits, and offers housing and marketing services unique to the industry.

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Second Chance Housing and Green Construction Consultants, offering new steel-framed homes and assistance rebuilding existing homes.
